Anime Destiny Summon Rates & Banner Guide
Summon probabilities, pity system, banner strategy, and gem budgeting for optimal pulls.
Summon System Overview
Summons are the primary way to obtain new units. Each summon costs Gems, and the result is determined by rarity-based probability rates. Banners rotate periodically, featuring different rate-up units. Auto Roll is free and allows batch summoning.
Tip: Always check the current banner before spending Gems — rate-up units have significantly higher pull rates.
Base Summon Rates
Standard summon rates: Secret 0.5%, Mythic 5%, Mythic BattlePass 2%, Legendary 20%, Rare 72.5%. Rate-up banners increase the featured unit's share within its rarity tier. For example, a rate-up Secret unit might account for 50% of all Secret pulls (0.25% effective rate).
Tip: The jump from Mythic (5%) to Secret (0.5%) is 10x harder. Don't expect Secrets from small Gem amounts.
Pity System
Anime Destiny features a pity counter: after 100 summons without a Secret unit, the next summon is guaranteed Secret. Pity carries over between banners of the same type but resets after pulling a Secret. Track your pity count manually or via the in-game counter.
Tip: Save at least 100 summons worth of Gems (roughly 10,000 Gems) before committing to a Secret banner to guarantee the pity pull.
Gem Economy
Gems are earned from: Story stage clears (first-time reward), Daily challenges (100–300 Gems), Weekly challenges (500–1,000 Gems), Boss Events (200–500 per clear), Endless milestone rewards (every 10 waves), and Codes (one-time, 500–2,000 Gems each). Active players earn approximately 3,000–5,000 Gems per week.
Tip: Daily and Weekly challenges are your most reliable Gem source. Never skip them, even on busy days.
Banner Strategy
When a new Secret banner drops, evaluate whether the unit fits your team before spending. Check the unit's page for stats, tier, and synergy info. If the Secret unit synergizes with your existing squad (e.g., Shadow Monarch + Crimson Knight), prioritize it. If not, save for the next banner.
Tip: Don't pull on every banner — save Gems for Secret units that directly upgrade your team composition.
Auto Roll and Bulk Summoning
Auto Roll is free and lets you summon in batches (x10 or x100). Always use x10 pulls to benefit from any bonus Gems per multi-pull (if active). For pity tracking, x10 pulls make it easier to count — 10 pulls = 1/10th of pity progress.
Tip: Review results after every x10 batch — stop early if you get the rate-up unit to save remaining Gems.
Smart Spending Tips
- •Pity counter carries over between same-type banners — don't reset your progress by switching banner types carelessly.
- •Redeem codes immediately when they release — expired codes give nothing.
- •Save at least 10,000 Gems before a Secret banner for a guaranteed pity pull.
- •Mythic units at 5% rate are reliable — you'll average 1 Mythic per 20 summons, so budget accordingly.
- •Don't spend Gems on anything except summons — there are no other worthwhile Gem sinks.
