NTE Day One Beginner Guide — F2P Checklist

Starting NTE for the first time? Here's everything you need to do on day one to maximize your progress as a free-to-play player.

1. Create Account & Download

• Download from the official site or your platform's store (PC, iOS, Android, PS5)
• Use a referral code if available for bonus rewards
• Select your starting gender (affects protagonist voice and some dialogue)

2. Complete the Tutorial

• Follow the guided tutorial — it teaches core combat mechanics
• Don't skip cutscenes — they explain important story context
• You'll unlock your first characters: Zero (protagonist) and Mint (healer)

3. Redeem All Codes

Go to Settings → Redeem Code and enter ALL active codes. This gives you:

• 100,000+ Fons (in-game currency)
• Ring Stones (premium currency)
• XP materials and other items

4. Pull on Beginner Banner (20 pulls)

• Use the Beginner Wish banner — guaranteed S-rank in 20 pulls
• Choose between Mint or Sakiri as your selector
• This is your most important early game decision

5. Push Main Story to Chapter 2

• Main story gives the most XP and rewards
• Unlocks additional features: vehicles, city exploration, more characters
• Don't grind side content yet — story first!

6. Explore the City for Fons

• Hethereau city has 378万+ Fons in collectible items
• Look for glowing spots on the ground, interactable objects, and hidden chests
• This is your primary Fons income in early game

7. Complete All Daily Tasks

Daily tasks reset at 4:00 AM server time. Always complete them for:

• Ring Stones ×60
• XP materials
• Fons

8. Start City Tycoon

• Unlocks after Chapter 3
• Your first source of passive income
• Opens early so you start accumulating Fons while offline

9. Add Friends

• Friend system gives bonus stamina and co-op benefits
• Join an active guild for additional rewards

Build order for your first day:

• ❌ Don't spread resources thin — Focus on 1 team of 4
• ❌ Don't waste Ring Stones on standard banner — save for limited banners
• ❌ Don't skip daily tasks — They're your primary income
• ❌ Don't pull on weapon banner early — Characters first, weapons later
• ✅ DO save all Ring Stones for the next limited character banner
• ✅ DO explore the city — Fons collection is worth the time investment
• ✅ DO complete the story — Unlocks everything you need
