NTE's combat system revolves around 3-character teams. Proper team composition dramatically improves combat efficiency. This guide covers everything from basics to advanced team lineups.

Team Basics

Each team has 3 characters covering main DPS, support/utility, and flex roles. Consider elemental synergy, skill chaining, and overall damage rotation when building teams.

Role Classification

Main DPS: Primary damage dealer. Examples: Jiuyuan (Anima/burst), Nanally (Lakshana/sustained). DPS characters need team support for buffs and survival.

Support: Provides buffs, debuffs, or healing. Examples: Mint (heal+buff), Adler (shield+buff). Supports significantly amplify DPS output.

Utility: Provides crowd control, shield-breaking, or special mechanics. Examples: Zero (Cosmos/versatile), Baicang (Bose/control). Adjust based on content needs.

Elemental Principles

NTE has 6 elements: Anima, Incantation, Chaos, Psyche, Cosmos, Lakshana.

Recommended strategies: 1) Same-element resonance (2-3 characters of same element trigger bonus effects); 2) Cross-element reaction teams; 3) Mono-element teams (maximize resonance).

Meta Team Compositions

Team 1: Jiuyuan Burst

Jiuyuan (DPS) + Baicang (support/control) + Mint (heal/buff)

Core: Baicang controls with Bose element, Mint provides sustain and buffs, Jiuyuan delivers massive Anima burst damage. Stable and versatile.

Team 2: Nanally Sustained

Nanally (DPS) + Xiaozhi (support/shield-break) + Zero (utility/versatile)

Core: Nanally's Lakshana provides consistent damage, Xiaozhi boosts efficiency, Zero covers team weaknesses.

Team 3: Hotori Speed Combo

Hotori (DPS) + Sakiri (sub-DPS/support) + Edgar (utility/DPS)

Core: Hotori's fast combos paired with Sakiri's Gas support and Edgar's Liquid damage. High-skill-ceiling for action game fans.

F2P-Friendly Teams

Mint (beginner selector) + Adler + Edgar: Cosmos resonance team. Adler shields, Edgar adds damage, Mint heals and buffs.

For beginners: Beginner selector S-rank + two complementary characters. Ensure your team has damage, support, and survival.

Advanced Tips
