NTE Prison & Wanted System Complete Guide: Clear Stars, Escape & Avoid Getting Caught

In the open world of Neverness to Everness, your criminal actions have consequences. The city's security system tracks your behavior through a 3-star wanted system — the higher your star level, the more intense the pursuit, and you may eventually end up in prison.

1-Star Wanted: Triggered by repeated traffic violations. Light pursuit — standard patrol officers attempt to intercept.

2-Star Wanted: Triggered by stealing vehicles, serious traffic violations, or significant property damage. More police vehicles join the chase.

3-Star Wanted: Triggered by using weapons in public, assaulting officers, or destroying major infrastructure. This activates a 15-minute intense manhunt and may trigger a special boss encounter. Defeating the boss yields generous rewards; losing costs money and reputation.

• Hide and Wait: At 1 star, enter a building or flee the alert zone. At 2 stars, return home or use underground passages
• Pay the Fine: Instantly clear any wanted level — the fastest method
• Anomaly Management Bureau: Drive a stolen vehicle into the Bureau to clear stars (vehicle disappears)
• Turn Yourself In: Go to the police station and surrender

After being caught at 3 stars, you're sent to Central Prison. Three exit options: pay fine, wait 7 days, or escape.

Route 1: Tunnel Digging

Steal metal spoons during outdoor time, tear down the poster in your cell, and dig through the brick wall. Navigate the underground tunnel while avoiding searchlights.

Route 2: High-Altitude Rope

Collect 4 cloth materials to craft an escape rope. Steal the key from the guard's room. During labor period, use the rope from the watchtower roof.

Route 3: Stealth Escape

Find the gang boss at the basketball court to unlock the inmate questline. A green-haired inmate helps you. Create noise with faucets, hide in cabinets, grab the front door key, navigate searchlight arrays, escape by boat.

Route 4: Chemical Corrosion

Feign illness to access the medical room, grab concentrated disinfectant, use it on the sewer grate to corrode metal bars overnight.

Route 5: Fake Death

Trade a doll for a special potion 'Still Breath'. Use it in the medical room to trigger fake death — you're shipped out as deceased and revive outside.
