Neverness to Everness (NTE) launches April 23 for CN servers and April 29 globally, arriving simultaneously on PC, Android, iOS, Mac, HarmonyOS, and PS5. The launch version is extremely generous, offering over 470 free pulls throughout version 1.0. But even with abundant resources, using them in the wrong order on day one will cost you efficiency. This checklist ranks every must-do task by priority so you can hit the ground running.
- 1Redeem All Codes (Highest Priority)
The very first thing after logging in: open the menu, find the redeem code entry, and enter every known code. Preview livestream codes include YHNOWTOENJOY, YHNANALLYGO, and YHOB0423, with more likely at launch. Rewards include gacha currency and upgrade materials. Check our redeem codes page for the latest updates.
- 1Complete the Tutorial for Your Free 10-Pull (Highest Priority)
The tutorial takes about 20-30 minutes and concludes with a free 10-pull. It also unlocks the gacha system and core features. Do not skip it. NTE's combat mechanics and exploration systems are best learned through the guided experience.
- 1Beginner Banner: 20-Pull S-Rank Selector (Very High Priority)
After the tutorial, head to the Beginner Wish banner. This pool guarantees an S-rank character within 20 pulls and lets you choose from six candidates: Nanally, Sakiri, Daffodil, Lacrimosa, Zero, and Baicang. For new players, Nanally is the strongest recommendation. She is one of the best main DPS units in the current meta, easy to play, and effective from early story through endgame. If you pull Nanally from the limited banner, choose Sakiri instead as a universal support. Always check your roster before deciding.
- 1Standard Banner: 50-Pull S-Rank Selector (Very High Priority)
After accumulating 50 pulls on the Standard Wish banner, you receive an S-rank selector ticket. Choose from all permanent S-rank characters. This is your second free S-rank. Complete the beginner selector first, then fill your team gap with the standard selector for complementary pairings.
- 1Claim Pre-Registration Rewards (High Priority)
Check your in-game mailbox and claim all pre-registration rewards. With global pre-registrations surpassing 35 million, rewards include A-rank character Haniel, 20 crafting dice, and abundant upgrade materials. These rewards may expire, so claim them on day one. Haniel is an A-rank but highly practical for early progression.
- 1Pull the Nanally Limited Banner (High Priority)
The first limited banner features Nanally, an S-rank Anima attacker. Here is the best part about NTE's gacha: there is NO 50/50 system. The limited banner guarantees the featured character at 90 pulls with no chance of losing to an off-banner unit. Soft pity begins at pull 74, and most players get their character between 50-60 pulls. This halves the worst-case cost compared to traditional 50/50 games.
- 1Progress the Story to Unlock City Tycoon for Xiaozhi (High Priority)
Advancing the main story unlocks the City Tycoon system. Visit Pink Paws Bank on the map and talk to NPC Xiaozhi to get started. Through City Tycoon, you can obtain Xiaozhi, an S-rank Light-attribute main DPS, completely free and upgradeable to maximum awakening. This is unprecedented in the genre. Prioritize unlocking City Tycoon and claiming Xiaozhi as early as possible.
- 1Complete Daily Missions (High Priority)
Finish all daily tasks on launch day. They provide steady gacha resources and upgrade materials in about 15-20 minutes. Building this habit from day one accumulates into massive long-term gains.
- 1Try the New Launch Features (Medium Priority)
Version 1.0 brings major new systems worth exploring: the driving system lets you cruise the city in first-person view, housing gives each character a personal room to decorate, Pink Paws Heist is a 15-minute extraction co-op mode perfect for playing with friends, and the prison system adds unique City Tycoon interactions. These are great for variety when you need a break from the main story.
- 1Plan Your Stamina Usage (Medium Priority)
Stamina is precious and must never be wasted. Early on, prioritize character level-up materials and weapon enhancement materials. Save disc dungeons for when your characters are higher level. Even without a specific goal, farm universal materials rather than letting stamina overflow. Keep some stamina potions in reserve for upcoming limited events.
Follow this order: Codes, Tutorial, Beginner 6-Choose-1, Standard 50-Pull Selector, Pre-Reg Rewards, Limited Banner, Main Story to City Tycoon for Xiaozhi, then Dailies. By end of day one you will have at least three S-rank characters and solid resource reserves. Remember the golden rule: claim resources first, then pull beginner banner, then limited banner. With 470+ pulls and no 50/50, even F2P players can build a powerful team in version 1.0. For more guides, keep following our site. Good luck and may your 10-pulls bring double gold!
